March Favorites

Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog.
I feel like I have not done a favorites post in so long. But I am doing this post while watching Nicole Guerriero's new vid😘
So I have 3 face products and 4 lip products. March was my month of blush and lipsticks.
*starting left to right*
Mac blush in Gentle
I was nervous to buy this blush because its a pink for me, but it gives my face a flushed look which I love and it lasts all day.
Mac blush in Margin
This is the type of blush I usually lean  towards. I love the bronze glow this blush gives me. It looks great with a sharp contour.
Mac Highlight Powder in Hullaballoo
This is not my favorite highlighter, but it is a favorite product for those days that I don't want to wear a lot of make up.
Milani lipstick in 43 Pretty Natural
If there was ever a lipstick color that was my natural lip color, it's this lipstick. If you are looking for a natural inexpensive lipstick, then you need this lipstick.
Miley Cyrus Viva Glam lipstick from Mac
I absolutely love this lipstick. If you don't own this limited edition lipstick, you need too. Even if you don't wear it every day it's still a beautiful watermelon colored lipstick.
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Milan
I absoutely love the smell of these soft matte lip creams. Milan is a nudey pink with a hint of mauve
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in San Paulo
San Paulo is a brown toned pink and looks amazing with natural looks.

I hope you all enjoyed my March Favorites!!! Xoxo. Follow me!

All about my Sweet 16!

Hi Guys! Welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to be writing about my Sweet 16! From the decorations, to where I got them, to my cake etc. Enjoy!
My birthday is September 21st. In the beginning of August my parents started discussing me having a party. Personally, I didn't think we could do a big party. My parents decided we could have a party at our home.
The first thing I recommend is making a guest list. This was a tad hard for me being that we just started school and I knew I was going to make more friends to invite. When making a guest list, remember its okay to invite new people, but if you have a problem with someone or there is tension between you and the other person, do not invite them. Its your birthday and all you need are people who care about you on this day. So I planned for friends AND family. I had roughly around 50 people. That may sound excessive but I have a lot of family. I also befriended a lot of new people and I wanted my party to be almost like a laid back meet people you've never met before type of thing. So I could introduce my new friends to my old ones and it worked out so well.
After I figured out how many people I wanted to have, I got to thinking about my "theme" and what I was going to do for food. I decided on pasta because I am Italian and pasta is my favorite food. My favorite color is Tiffany & Co. blue.
I love the elegance of Tiffany & Co. and wanted to incorporate a lot of detail into my party. I knew I didn't want the actually label on everything, but I wanted the sparkle and the blue. I really looked at Pinterest for EVERYTHING. From cake designs, to center pieces, etc. I started ordering things online about two to three weeks before. You want to order everything you need at least two weeks before the event. Especially if you use Amazon or online party supply places because shipping can always take long.

The last two weeks:

In this time, you want to have invites given or sent out. I sent mine out by mail because I did not want to worry about having to track down people and others having their feelings hurt that they weren't invited. My advice if people do get upset that they were not invited; you can do one of two things. Either explain to them why you think they should not be there, or two: ignore them. If you were true friends there would be no doubt they should be at your event.
You also want to have the majority of your party supplies. I ordered lots of stuff online that had to either be put together or made. Which is different for every person. I wanted a very detailed party and I am a very hands on type of person. Also by now people should be RSVPing. I recommend ALWAYS doing this. When you are preparing food or buying food for an event, you want to know how many people will be there. You should also order your cake or whatever you chose for dessert.

The week before:

This was a very interesting week for me because my mom actually texted me while I was in math class asking if I wanted to go to Panama City, Florida right after my party. I will have a different blog post on that. The week before is crucial. Last minute guests should be RSVPing. If your party is outside, you need to check the weather and have a back up plan if there is inclimate weather. If you are doing cake or cupcakes, most places require 72 hours notice. Call your baker at least a week in advance just in case. My cake was a little bit more difficult to make so finding a baker was a challenge. Try not to stress out about the party even if you have a lot to do. I suggest having two people that can help you on the big day. Also, begin to ask everyone who has not RSVP'ed if they are coming. I had a lot of people tell me they were comin and they ended up not showing.

The night before:

Prepare your centerpieces, giftbags, etc. My mom made the food for my party so she was cooking and my best friend and I just were doing odd and ins things for the party. It's usually a lot of running around.
Your sweet 16 is probably the biggest birthday you have besides your 21st. Even if you don't do anything for your birthday just spend it with the people that mean the most to you.
Here are some pictures from my party!
Invitations were made with Google Drawings. (Blackened area is my address and phone number)

Since my theme was Tiffany's I ordered boxes and put white candies in them and tied them with a bow. Ribbons from the party store and boxes from Amazon(manually had to fold)

Containers, labels, jeweled ribbon all from Party City. Straws, candy and paper flowers are from Amazon. We already owned the Mason Jars.
Two banners made from my moms work.
Because everyone was eating outside I wanted to sanatize the silverware with the napkins.
Napkins, silverware and A labels are all from Party City.

Suckers are from Amazon as well.

Flower from Amazon. Styrofoam, and ribbon from Party City.

Cake was made by The Royal Cupcakery. (Red Velvet)

Cupcakes also from The Royal Cupcakery.

All About: My Bellami hair extensions!

I have been contemplating for YEARS about getting Bellami Hair Extensions. I finally did it.
So if you do know much about Bellami or hair extensions, then keep reading:)
My hair is naturally curly but with my perm, it's thinned out. I have worn hair extensions before but they were not real hair.
Bellami sells different lengths of real human hair extensions.
Real Vs. Synthetic
Real hair can be dyed, cut, curled, straightened and washed without damage.
Synthetic is fake hair. Literally. It's advised that you do not apply heat or wash them. I did have a pair of synthetic hair extensions and I did cut, wash, and apply heat to them but it was not over 300 degrees.
I did email Bellami for a color match because I do have brown hair but its light and it has hints of red (I'm Italian and Irish) and I got an answer the next day and their customer service is AMAZING. I was matched with Ash Brown which is originally what I suspected as my color. I order the 18inches on a monday, and they do ship from California and I live in Ohio and I recieved them on that friday just in time for my school dance on saturday. I have only used them with straight hair. They are soft, thick, and the perfect length/grams.
If you have thick hair, you may want to get a higher gram. My set is 120 grams and it is plenty for my hair. I do have a sensitive head and since I havent worn extensions in a year or so. My head starts to hurt around hour 4, but it is nothing very painful.
Below is a picture of how well they blend with my hair. They're the perfect match. (If you want to see length, refer to my Winter Formal post)

If you are thinking about getting Bellami extensions I highly recommend it. I waited and contemplated getting them for a long time, and I wish I got them sooner.

xoxoxo.

Game of War Review

Hi! I feel like I havent been blogging in forever so I decided to do some posts this week while I have some time.
I know I have mentioned Boostinsider before, but if you are a blogger looking to make money on your blogs, I totally recommend this site.
A campaigned that was assigned to me a few days ago was the Game of War- Fire Age.
I do not know about you but if you play trivia crack, you have probably seen this in the ads. I saw the advertisements right after I watched Maleficent and I thought it was mocking Maleficent because the ad has a scene where the trees fight with the people and if you have seen Maleficent you know what I am talking about...and if you haven't scene the movie....spoiler alert I'm sorry lol.
Its the game with Kate Upton.
I am not a big gamer and I don't really have games on my phone but I downloaded it and so far I like it.
Feel free to download the app. They made one for android too.

Android: http://bst.is/ANELW8

Regular hair and make up blog posts will be up soon. I have tried a lot of products and I am going to review them when I can test them.

xoxoxo.
