Ahhh, the much anticipated post. I recently tweeted that I was going to Target and I would most likely do a haul, depending on what I bought. I absolutely love E.L.F, mainly because they have great products at the best prices. I got 7 items for like $25. (I am not sure why E.L.F 's products are .02 its just the way Target had them marked)
So the first thing I picked up was the E.L.F Professional Foundation Brush for $1.02.
I've been looking for some alternatives to my beauty blender for applying foundation.
Next, I got the E.L.F Small Stipple Brush that I believe was $3.02
I have been trying to find a stipple brush because originally thats what I thought you used to apply foundation before there was a beauty blender (which I recommend trying.) but I could never find one that was not $30+, which I think is ridiculous for a brush.
Third, I got the E.L.F Eyelid Primer in sheer which was $1.02.
I was not going to spend $20 for primer. And of course I never tried it so I thought why not :)
Then, I picked up the E.L.F Concealer stick in ivory for $3.02.
Now, for me picking out concealer is a little bit of a struggle. I have low iron, so around my eyes its very purple-blueish. So naturally, the concealers tend to fade throughout the day, letting the purple show through. It's something that bothers me. I wouldn't say I'm self conscious about it, I just feel a little embarrassed when it shows through or someone points it out. I'm excited to see if this concealer creases or lets the purple show through.
Last but definitely not least, I bought the E.L.F Moisturizing Lipstick in pink minx for $3.02
Super excited to try this, I wanted to buy more lipsticks and I'm excited to buy the other colors. :)
Now, my next two items are not E.L.F but I felt that it was pretty important to mention them.
Not E.L.F related, but I was looking for some new eyeshadow, so I got the Revlon Creme Shadow in not just nudes for $3.99 I believe. I didn't realize it was a creme shadow till I got home, but I wanted something different and I'm excited to see how it works and looks.
Next was the TRESemme Firm Control hairspray in 3. It was around $4.
A few months ago, I was in the hairspray aisle, and saw that hairspray costed about $10. Which I thought was ridiculous so I did not buy it. I didn't even check TRESemme. But when I was there just recently I need shampoo and was shocked that their hairspray was like $4. My hair holds curls pretty well so I didn't need a hairspray with extra firm control.
So that is all for my Target haul! Be sure to follow me on instagram at @haiitsaubree, and to subscribe to my YouTube channel. Don't be afraid to tweet me @beautybyaubs. I want suggestions for more blog posts, and feedback. Let me know if there is something certain you would like me to do a post about. Thanks guys! xoxo.
