Hi everyone! I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving and ate lots of food and enjoyed visiting with family. So, its going to be December soon and I thought doing a haul for winter time products would be beneficiary. I will be doing first impression posts about each product I try.
STARTING WITH SEPHORA:
***Some items are refills of my favorite products***
If you have watched my YouTube videos, you would know my favorite foundation primer is the Smashbox Photo Finish. I have used my foundations without a primer and I could go either way. I do think my foundation sits nicer on my skin, though.
If you have kept up with my blog, you would know my skin type is extremely dry. In the winter time, I develope wind burns on my cheeks. I mosiurize like a crazy woman and nothing soothes the pain. I picked up the Glamglow Thirstymud hydrating treatment. I have been looking at getting this product and finally bit the bullet. The truth is you only get one shot at taking care of your skin so take good care of it and you wont be 50 going on 80.
Next, was really an impulse buy, I have done the same thing with my brows for two years and I am comfortable with it but I need to branch out and try new products. I picked up the Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade in soft brown.
NOW ULTA:
Majority of these are gifts for my little sister for christmas and I would not buy them if I didn't think they werent amazing products. My sister has a love for make up and has quickly become very talented at it. Each year I bump up the level of make up I buy her, each year the brands get better and better.
Ulta was having a buy one get one 50% off on their Real Techniques brushes and I got her the Eye/ Enhanced Starter Set, and the Expert Face Brush (my personal favorite for appyling bb creams). Then from there I got her the Tarte Poppry Picnic Palette, picking a palette was tough. I didnt want to buy her anything with crazy colors or extremely dark colors and this is pretty natural looking.
OK so this was a total impulse buy. The Tartelette in bloom palette LITERALLY just came out and I took one good look at it and grabbed it. I am picky about palettes for myself because some shades I wont use and then I kick myself because I spent $50 to use 3 shades. But this palette is so nuetral and I know I can use all shades in them because they are so versitile.
LASTLY BEAUTY BRANDS:
So Beauty Brands is another store like Sephora. If Ulta and Sephora had a baby it is Beauty Brands. BB has Smashbox, Too Faced, etc. They dont have drugstore make up but they do have luxury skin care/ both ends for hair care.
I have been using the its a 10 leave in conditioner for a long time so I picked up another one of those.
I cant seem to find Moroocan Oil products anywhere besides Beauty Brands. I use their Curl Defining Cream and it is AMAZING for curly hair. It tames the frizz. Only issue is its a little hard to wash out of your hair.
Last thing I bought was the Origins Clear Improvement Mud Mask.
Thank you for reading! Stay Tuned for First Impressions on these products! xoxo.

the problem with always being available
i seem to be always available.
whenever someone is upset,
they talk to me,
which im fine with,
but who talks to me when I'm upset?
Don't get me wrong, I have no problem letting someone vent to me. In fact, I feel honored that someone had the guts to reach out to me and speak about whatever is going on with them. Its hard to be vulnerable. To them, I am their "person"
But... why is that never reciprocated? where is my person? Do I even have one? I am not sure.
I try to not beat myself up about the fact I don't have someone. I am good at holding everything in. I can smile, and talk to you like I am doing perfectly fine.
I am scared of letting someone know what hurts me. Not everyone is a genuine person, some are just nosey. They do not care about you, they just want to know whats going on. People will pretend to care and then go and tell everyone what is going on with you. I just don't like being vulnerable. So, maybe they think I don't need my person?
A lot of people who are older than I am seem to say one thing in perticular to me... "what do you have to be upset about as a teenager? Your life isnt hard. Wait until you become an adult."
That saying about how you never know what someone is going through is cliché, but true.
The truth is, you will never be able to understand exactly what someone is going through.
You'll never understand why they hurt so much.
Until it's you.
Until you are the one hitting rock bottom and then you finally see.
What made them so upset.
And then it hits you.
It's not about understanding.
It's about being there for someone when they need you.
It's about being their person.

SNUPPS APP
HI everyone! Welcome back to my blog. So in Nazanin Kavari's most recent video she mentions an app called Snupps. Basically its a form of pinterest, but you get to upload your life! I downloaded this app like an hour ago and I am obsessed. I have so many ideas running through my head about what I can do on it! Right now I am uploading pictures of my lipsticks. I plan on creating a fall make up shelf, and I have a board for October Favorites so when I love a new product all I have to do is take a picture of the product, and type the brand and color name and volia, you automatically can see what I am loving at the (literal) moment. I said I have only been playing with it for an hour or so but I just had to write a post about it. You can find me on Snupps at haiitsaubree or Aubree Valentine. I will be blogging as normal but I wanted a more visual way to show you guys what I am loving.
p.s new video coming soon :)

SEPTEMBER FAVORITES
Hi babiessss :) I decided to do another blog post for you since I have been trying new products! This month is my birthday month so shoutout to all my virgos out there xoxo.
1. Maybelline Fit Me Foundation: Matte and Poreless
I already have the dewy and smooth which I also love, but for school and it just being abnormally hot outside I picked up the matte foundation before school started. I have only used the dewy foundation when I am sick. I live up north so in the winter times its going to be a great hydrating foundation.
2. MAC PREP & PRIME FIX +
If God himself ever told me I could only use one product for the rest of my life it would be the MAC Prep & Prime Fix +. I use it after I moisturize to work as another layer of moisturization and a primer. Then when I am done with my make up I set it.
3. Anastasia Beverly Hills Traveler Palette
I really do not need another palette. I think I am content with this one right now. I posted pictures of my make up from my birthday (sept. 21st) and I got requests for a video and I used shades from this palette and the naked palette so I am filming that when I get back from vacation! :)
4. Coco Chanel Mademoiselle Perfume
I rarely ever hange up my perfume. I have a pretty sensitive nose, so I do get nauseous easily with fruity smelling perfumes. I went into Nordstrom a few weeks ago and I stopped by the perfume counter. (I get a perfume for christmas or my birthday from my parents) and I asked the lady what the most popular Chanel perfume is, and she pointed me to this one. She gave me a sample to wear to see how I like it and then I decided I wanted it for my birthday. It is in the $90 range but because its more of an oil you only need one spray and you are G for like two days (with showering)
5. VSCO
I absolutely love photography, but I always worry about posting pictures and the amount of likes and whatever. VSCO is an app where you can post photos to your grid, and express yourself. I find myself taking a lot more pictures since getting this app!
6. Coastal Scents Synthetic Blending Brush
I don't normally talk about brushes on my blog, mainly because I use the same ones everyday, but I have been using the Coastal Scents Synthetic Blending brush to blend colors in my crease and it is amazing. A lot of brushes that are stiff tend to leave a chalky look on your eyes after applying color, but this brush is super soft.
7. Urban Decay Perversion Mascara:
I got a sample of this mascara from Ulta for my birthday, and I have been wearing it ever since. It longates my lashes, and makes them look long and full. My only issue with it is I'm pretty sure its waterproof and I hate the way waterproof mascara ruins my lashes.
8. Real Techniques Brushes:
I have this set. From left to right, I use the far left brush to apply foundation (if I don't use my Sakura brush) and if I need to blend any harsh lines. Middle brush I use to apply highlight, right brush I use to contour. It fits perfectly in my cheekbone. Overall, for the price, Real Techniques has great brushes. I really want to try some of their Bold Metals Collection. Tweet me if you've used any brushes from that line and your thoughts on it.

9. Tarte Amazonian Clay eyeliner in black:
If you are looking for the blackest black eyeliner that has ever existed, look no further. After awhile, my eyeliner would rub off onto my crease. Or pigment would get onto my liner and it wouldnt look as pigmented, but I wouldn't have to worry about it with the Tarte eyeliner.
10. MAC Giambattista Valli Eugenie Lipstick
I know, limited edition. BUT, I more so love the color than the actual lipstick. There are plenty of other brands that carry those dark vampy plum colors. I just like this specific color.
That is it for my September favorites! If you follow me on Twitter you will know what my next tutorial is. :))))

FALL MAKE UP TRENDS 2015
Hi everyone! I am currently on vacation and I want to get a post up for you guys while I'm gone. I tweeted pictures of my birthday make up look, and I got requests for a tutorial and I will be filming that when I get back! If you want to see what look I am going to film be sure to check out the latests pictures I tweeted!
SO, my goal of this post is just to give you guys fall make up inspiration. When I did my make up on my birthday (September 21st) I looked through my Pinterest make up board but I do realize some people do not use Pinterest so I can just post them here :)
Of course, I could not forget about my red lippy girls.

Fall make up doesnt mean dark colors. A lot of trends for 2015 include orange. Orange is a really easy color to use. It does take time to blend but its much easier than black or brown.
Fall make up also doesnt mean you have to use dark colors and go full glam, of course this is not a natural look but it is toned down.
Less is really more, you can easily take out the pinky lip and substitute it for whatever color you choose!
If you don't personally like the more red tone lips, you can also go for a cranberry color.
If you don't like any of my suggestions above, try an orange. You really have to play with the colors to see what you think looks good on you.
P.S: everything you wear looks good on you, you just over think it. You can pull off anything you want. <3
Thank you guys so much for reading my blog posts, it really does mean a lot and each page view makes a giant difference. (:

2015 FALL TRENDS!
Hi guys! Welcome back to my blog. I started school on the 17th and havent had time to edit my two videos or get caught up on my blog:( I did two back to school videos and i'm trying to get them up but editing is very time consuming.
So I know it's only August but from where I live, its already getting colder. I figured I coul do a look book of trends for 2015 fall for you guys! I will also do the same thing for fall make up looks if you guys want me too:) xox.1. Chambray
Chambray is the light denim look. Chambray is different from denim. They are made from different fabrics. A chambray is a plain weave fabric woven with a colored yarn in the warp and a white yarn in the weft. Typically, you will notice a lighter color to the underside of a denim fabric, whereas the underside of chambray will appear much more similar to its face side.
Neutrals are realy big now. As seen on Kim Kardashian, skin tone colors, olive, black, light pink and gray.
3. Trench Coats
A tan trench coats, also another trend set by Kim Kardashian, can be worn with (usually) dark colored jeans and a light colored top. If your trench coat is olive, opt for a black or gray top, with lighter wash jeans. If you love to wear white jeans, opt for a light pink scoop neck top, tan trench coat, dark wash jeans and tan accessories. Light and dark shades or gray also work well with olive and nude. Or if you love black clothing as much as I do you can opt for all black but a colored trench coat.

4. Strappy Heels
Most fall trends this year follow the more minimalistic look. Very simple, comfy look. Steve Madden (pictured down below) has a pair of shoes that look exactly like the Stuart Weitzman shoes.
Lace has been a huge trend for the last two years. Lace dresses with colored slip to cover the private areas is super cute.
7. Big Sweaters
I don't know about you, but big sweaters are if not the most comfiest piece of clothing. Instead of sweat pants and sweat shirts if you want to be warm and cute, big sweatshirts are the way to go.

MAC Counter at Nordstrom: Experience
Hi everyone! I don't normally use my blog to talk about my horrible experiences. Its usually pretty positive. But I decided to make a post about this because I think others have had the same experience as I did.
So on Thursday, I went to Sephora to get Jaclyn Hill's Champange Pop. I was the first one in the store (yay) and the first one to buy Champange Pop that day (yay again) but my problem wasn't at Sephora. The people at my Sephora are wonderful and very sweet and helpful. After I was done at Sephora my sister and I decided to walk around. We went into Victorias Secret and Kate Spade. I parked at Nordstrom so we went through there to get to my car. I saw a MAC counter and I have been looking for certain products but the MAC counter I usually go to (Macy's counter) was out of.
So I stopped by. I don't know if it was because they were "busy" (they had three people working) but I was ignored. Blantantly ignored. They were disinterested and the white woman acted like I was the biggest pain in the ass they ever had. I asked the two girls working the counter (other woman was doing make up on a client) if they had the travel size Fix + the black lady said "let me look" and never got back to me. I probably asked them too many questions but I couldn't find ANYTHING on my own it was so cluttered and messy. I finally gave up on them. At that point I just felt in the way and the black women working there had such a bad attitude. I don't know if they were overwhelmed (they weren't that busy) or if it was because I look like a teenager. Frustrated, and pissed off I decided to look at some of the other counters. I was in Bobbi Brown when a blonde woman approached me. She asked me what I was looking for today and I told her I just came from MAC, I've been treated poorly and theres nothing specific I'm looking for from Bobbi Brown I just wanted to see if any other brands had what I was looking for. She didn't really understand what I was talking about with these two women. Until we went over there. Her name was Stacy and she is a make up artist for Bobbi Brown. So Stacy told me she could help me find the travel size fix +. The black woman (not being racist I don't know her name) was testing foundation colors on her customer and when Stacy asked where the Fix + was, the black woman snapped at her saying they were out of it. Why couldn't you tell me that when I was standing around for 15 minutes? Stacy looked at me and knew exactly what I was talking about when she originally approached me. I ended up buying the full size Fix +, and a Bobbi Brown product. I wouldn't of bought anything if Stacy hadn't helped. When I bought the huge fix + I walked back to the MAC counter and approached the rude white woman and shouted "I ended up buying the full size" and smiled. Then the white woman payed attention to me. The other woman at the Bobbi Brown counter, Carmen (also a make up artist) rang me up when I saw the Bobbi Brown product I wanted to try (will tell you the product details when I do my haul:) and the price was listed wrong so she called her manager and decided to give it to me the price I originally saw. (Real price was twice that). Thats what I'm talking about with customer service. I get that some people are just rude customers but that doesn't mean you spread the rudeness to your future customers. I was nice to them. I complimented the black woman because she was very pretty and had gorgeous hair but she just snuffed me off like my compliments were obvious or whatever. But heres my thing; I spend more money at MAC then any other stores, brands, counters, etc. I've never had a problem with the customer service with MAC employees until that day. I know there are soooooo many videos on YouTube about bad MAC experiences. Before Thursday I had no idea what people were talking about. I have filed a complaint with the company about what happened. I'm not saying dont shop at the MAC counter in Nordstrom at Easton. Its just not realistic. But shop somewhere where you are treated important. I work retail. I deal with the same thing clothing wise. I know what it's like. Sometimes a random sales associate is a really good listener and they understand better than others. I don't plan on going back to that MAC counter but I will go back to Bobbi Brown to see my girls Carmen and Stacy. They really made me feel better but I am still pissed off about the women at MAC. Stacy actually talked to me about becoming a make up artist and how she learned, and even said when I was ready she could get me a job to work with her.
Sympathy sells beauty products.
Be sure to tweet me any experiences you've had at MAC. I don't think I'm the only one to have had this situation.
xoxo,
aubs. :)

Summer Beauty Tips!
Hi guys! Welcome back to my blog. So this is going to be a list of all of my summer beauty tips, and not all of my tips are limited to summer, you can use them in any season.
1. Foundation with SPF
Especially for summer, to protect your face from sun damage, you want a foundation with SPF. It does give off a white cast with flash, but if you need a flash then it must be dark and theres no reason to use SPF if you're in a dark place.
2. Instead of using an eye primer or base, use your foundation to cover your veins and then use a lighter concealer to brighten the eye making eyeshadows appear brighter.
3. Highlighter
If you don't want to wear a full face of make up but want a glowy refreshed look, a highlighter is what you need. I recently bought the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone from Ulta $20. But if you want something that is less expensive, the covergirl instant cheekbones blush duo in 240. The lightest color is the prettiest highlight.

4. Instead of buying an expensive setting spray.
Instead of buying a setting spray example: urban decay chill make up setting spray $30. A cheaper alternative is the sample size of the Mario Badescu Rose Water $8(?). If you have dehydrated skin, this can work as a moisturizer too:)
5. A pink toned blush
A light pink toned blush will give you a flushed hydrated look. I love the MAC blush in Gentle. If you are going for a bronzy look, MAC Margin will be perfect for you.
6. Tap in Primer instead of rubbing.
Pressing your primers into your skin rather than rubbing will save protect and entact your make up.
7. When working with a shimmery lid color, apply crease/transition color first.
For the longest time I could not get a shimmery lid color to stay where I wanted it too, on the lid. It would always transfer into my crease and I prefer a matte crease. Many people probably already know you apply your crease color first but it never mattered much to me because I always used matte shades. It makes a difference when you want a very pigmented color, or a shimmery color.
8. Setting your undereyes helps withascara transfer.
If you have problems keeping your mascara where you want it, try setting under your eyes with a powder. Whether or not you use concealer is up to you, but setting also helps with creasing.
9. Tape really does work when using liquid eyeliner.
For the life of me I could not get the right winged eyeliner on myself. I used tape but somehow it never looked even. The trick to having perfect eyeliner is this: practice makes perfect. Clichè but knowing how long or thick you want your eyeliner to be is the key. It will take time to figure out what looks best with your eye shape. If you struggle with liquid, try gel. It sounds much easier, I have yet to master liquid but I can create a perfect wing with a black shadow, so maybe its the liquid. I'm really excited to try gel. Any suggestions? I'd love to find a drugstore one first! :)
10. Make up is make up.
Don't get frustrated. Your face is a canvas and you are painting. It doesn't come together until the very end so if you think it doesnt look right, keep going. The best part about make up is you can wash it off and try again. Make up is different for everyone. Everyone is different with different eye shapes and eyebrows etc. You won't figure out what looks best over time. Jaclyn Hill has practiced for years, it wasn't just over night. :)

Life Update! New job, Filming Issues, etc.
So as many of you know it is summer right now. I have been slacky on my blogging. I've been filming but its just been a complete mess. I need a new camera. The one I am using uses so many batteries and dies quickly. I tried filming multiple times and the camera would stop recording and it was in bits and pieces and it was too much lol. I started a new job this month so I have been super busy. I'm not going to be buying a lot of new products unless I really need to treat myself. I'm trying to save up and start controlling what I spend lol. I'm trying to solve the filming situation so just be patient with me please.
Xoxo,

May Favorites!!!
Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog. I tweeted today that I do not have a lot of favorites this month because I have been super busy with finals (which are this week) and graduation events/parties. So until June 5th, I probably will not be tweeting/filming/blogging. I really just want to knock this week out with exams and then come back to y'all. I'm sowwy but school does come first. I really need inspiration for new looks. Tweet me any pictures you want a tutorial on, or any suggestions. It's really important that my videos are videos you guys want to see! :)
Sally Hansen Gel Shine Top Coat:
Nicole Guerrerio has talked about this and I do not normal paint my nails because it just chips off but I went and bought it. I did read the reviews and people have said they notice bumps and it takes forever to dry. I notice that if you apply one thin layer of this top coat, you do not have any problem. Also with the color you paint your nails, if you have more than two coats, you will get bubbles. No more than two layers of nail polish, and one thin layer of this top coat and you are good to go.
Victorias Secret Ultra Moisturizing hand and body cream:
I have a really generous math teacher who had this lotion on her desk for people to use if they had dry hands. I use it like everyday that I have her class and she said I am the only one that uses it so she just gave it to me. The scent is huneysuckle and jasmine. I cannot stand lotion that makes my hands sticky. It is one of the biggest pet peeves I have. This lotion does not make my hands have any oily or sticky feeling afterwards and it smells amazing.
Maybelline Fit Me: Smooth and Dewy Foundation:
I normally use the MAC Pro Longwear foundation but it is quite expensive and a more full coverage foundation. I do not really have anything I need to hide on my face such as acne. I just have discoloration. I also have dry skin so a matte foundation was not going to work for me. My shade is 115 Ivory. I love this foundation because a little goes a long way, it blends out beautifully, and it lasts all day without using a setting powder. Most of my setting powders are matte, but its a dewy foundation and I sometimes set it but not usually. I will have a more in depth review soon along with a foundation routine on my channel hopefully within the next two weeks.
O.P.I Nail Polish in Kiss Me On My Tulips:
I wanted a brighter pink for summer and this is a normal pink. I don't know how to explain it because its so different from anything else I own. Its the perfect pink, not to much to where its florescent, but also noticeable.
Like I said above I do have finals from June 1st-June 5th. I am hopeful to blog during this weekend but if I don't kust know I am sorry. During the summer, I would like to get on a schedule of having two videos a week. I usually only wear make up on the weekends, so my last two videos have been from a Saturday and Sunday. I don't usually have a schedule because I film when I can, but I will have more videos during the summer since I wont be in school. xoxo

I don't usually have a schedule because I film when I can, but I will have more videos during the summer since I wont be in school. xoxo

Spring/Summer Clothing Haul!!
The long await is over! My Spring/Summer Clothing Haul is here!! I have a very bipolar sense of style. One minute I'm in sweat pants being a bum and the next I am wearing heels and a blouse. I usually do two clothing hauls each year. One for summer time, because usually I grow a lot in the winter and my last years summer clothes don't fit right so I have to go shopping again, and back to school. This haul includes clothing from TJMAXX, Nordstrom Rack, Hollister, Abercrombie, and Old Navy. Somethings I have alread worn so if I have a picture of it it will be down below.
Nordstrom Rack:
Starting with the first thing I bought is this blue light weight dress from Nordstrom Rack. The Brand Want And Need in size medium. $26.79
Next is this peach dress from the brand As U Wish in size small.
The flash is making it look pink but it peach. The lace is beautiful. $28.97
This is a cream 3 quarter length shirt from Lily White in size medium. $19.97
I have no idea how to explain what this shirt is but its a tank around the shoulder area and it has 3 quarter length sleeves.
This mint color Lush shirt is amazing. I have a dress also from Lush and this is a lightweight blouse for a cool summer night. Size M. $19.97
The shirt is layers in the back and at the top is a key hole.
I like to get a lot of basic shirts for summer. Cute tops that I dont have to wear with a tank top. This is a simple tank with lace along the bottom from the brand Love on a Hanger in small. $16.97
Closer look of the lace on the bottom of the shirt.
Pink/mauve babydoll dress (Brandi Melville look alike) that I found at Meijer. Small/ $12.
Back of the dress.
Funny shirt from Nike. Size small. $16.99
Old Navy:
Floral dress from Old Navy, size small. $29.94
Light wash denium jacket, size small. I took the tag off because I wore it but I believe it was $39
Just a black cover up/cardigan. $19.94
Next are these nude pointed heels. These are Jessica Simpson and I love them. They are so classy and definitely something you need in your wardrobe. Bought from TJMAXX for $34.99.
Two plain crop tops. Black and gray. $8 each from Hollister
Stretchy jeans from Meijer. These are so comfortable. These are skinny and I have a tan pair that are boot cut and if you are one that hates constricting pants you need these. I can move so well in them and they are so comfortable. They were 25% off so I think they were around $20.
These super cute old navy "jeans" are perfect for a chilly night. They are also a lightweight stretch fabric.

That is it right now for my Spring/Summer haul, I do want to get more shorts just for everyday wear but I usually just get them from Hollister.
