Hiii(: welcome back to my blog. Today's post is going to be a review on the Nars Sheer Glow Foundation. It is $45.00 and my color is Ceylan.
Source: Sephora.com
What it is:
A glowing, satin-finish foundation with sheer and buildable coverage.
What it does:
This Sheer Glow Foundation enhances, without masking, your overall natural complexion. The weightless formula hydrates the skin while complexion brightening properties improve skin brightness, radiance, and texture, leaving skin with a luminous, sensual glow.
What else you need to know:
Suitable for normal, normal-to-dry, dry, and very dry skin types.
#1: This foundation is NOT for dry skin.
It clings to every dry patch you did not even know you had. Even if you exfoliate and moisturize it will be patchy.
#2 They will have your color.
I have never found a foundation this close to my skin color.
#3 It's very light weight
We all know that feeling of a really heavy foundation, however this is very light and you will forget that you are wearing foundation.
#4 Its not exactly build able.
It is a light to medium coverage foundation in my opinion. It does not cover acne or spots. It simply evens out your skin tone. You would have cake face if you built it up.
#5 I know I said it's not for dry skin.
I said it's not for dry skin being that it shows every dry patch, but when you wear it for a long period of time, it makes you oily and the make up just glides right into your pores and the result is horridness. I was not sure if it was from the Nars Radiant Creamy concealer, since it was wear I concealed too, but the lady said it was not the concealer. I have never been oily while wearing make up and powdering did not help.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
I still suggest you try it. Everyone's face is different, and what works for me might not work for you. I took back the foundation and exchanged it for the Make Up Forever HD Foundation. However, this was a miss for me.
If you have any suggestions for foundation for dry skin let me know.

Review on the Wet N Wild lipsticks
Hi everyone! So I am doing a quick first impression on the Wet N Wild lipsticks!
#1 Well the packaging is kind of bland and it doesn't say which type of lipstick (there are multiple collections within wet in wild)
#2 Only $0.99 each.
#3 The colors in this collection are very pearlescent. The 3 that I picked out were ones that did not have a shine to them. There are a good 15-20 shades maybe?
#4 I know they are only 0.99 cents, but it smells very lipsticky. Lol it smells like fake make up, like the kind you'd get from grandma when you were like 8.
#5 The 3 colors I picked up are
-Dark Wine (dupe for maybelline's devine wine lipstick)
-Cinnamon (perfect shade of red, not too bright, not too dark)
-Hot Paris Pink(watermelon pink)
When swatched, it one swipe was enough. The amount in the tube is equivalent to Mac, maybe even a little more.
Colors: Dark Wine, Cinnamon, Hot Paris Pink. (no flash)

Christmas Haul!
Hi loves! I hope you all had a fantastic holiday! I am going to share what I got for Christmas, and what I purchased after. I should not have to say this, but I am going to say it anyways. In no way am I trying to brag. I like seeing what other get for christmas vs.
So from my parents I got mainly clothes. I had tons of sephora gift cards so I didn't ask for any make up but I did get a make up artist brush set! I got two pairs of Pink outfits(yoga pants/shirt) A blanket, night gown, and pink and black bag from Victorias Secret. The shoes are the Nike Air Max Thea. I will be honest if I suggest any comfortable shoe it would be these. I love them so much. I needed new outerwear because its going to be a tough winter this year. I got a North Face that I have fallen asleep in because its so soft. The big winter coat is from Hollister when they had that huge sale I believe it was 70% off outwear between Thanksgiving and Christmas. The blue shirt is just a Kentucky Wildcats shirt. Even though I do not live in Kentucky, lol.
And with my own money I did a little after christmas haul. Victorias secret is having their annual semi sale going on now and I got 4 swim tops and 2 bottoms for around $70, I ordered those online. The pink and blue sweatshirt are also from Pink. I purchased in store. The pink half zip is a Medium, and the blue is a XS. Hollister too was having a sale and I got two more pairs of destroyed jeans. I have every single color of the jean like jegging that Hollister sells so I got actual jeans this time. Sadly, Sephora was not having a sale lol but I got 3 Nars products, A new beauty blender, and two Kat Von D lipsticks. I will be reviewing the beauty products in this haul because I got this stuff before the new year and I have since purchased more goodies I would like to share. (Yes the blanket is new as well that was one of my gifts from my boyfriend:)

The Truth about animal testing
Hi loves. This is going to be a little different topic on my blog. At my high school, I take a public speaking class as an elective. In my Public speaking class, a girl spoke about why animal testing should be illegal. WARNING: if you do not like to see what is really happening to the animals being tested, do not look at the pictures but I do think you should read this post.
First common thought about AT: The only animals being tested are rats.
False. Animals being tested are mice, rats, cats, dogs, guinea pigs, frogs, etc.
Second common thought about AT: The animals being tested are not harmed and do not suffer or die.
Again, false. Chemicals, skin care, and make up are all tested on animals rather than humans for "safety reasons" and these products tested on animals can cause horrid diseases or conditions. Animals can at the most die, are forced to inhale toxins, can be burned from whatever trial product, blindness, broken bones, are deprived of water and food for days, are held down by restraints, etc.
Third common thought about AT: if we don't test on animals, who can we test on?
Well first of all, animals do not have the same genetic make up as humans. We thought we found a cure for cancer, because it worked on a rat. But because we have different genetic make ups and DNA, this cure did not work for humans. Another example is the arthritis drug Vioxx. It was protective to the hearts of mice, but when released to the public, it caused more than 27,000 heart attacks and cardiac arrest deaths before being pulled from the shelf. There is also a new innovative way to test products not on animals or on humans. It's called in vitro. With in vitro we're able to test human genetics and DNA in a petri dish to see how it reacts. It costs more and is a slower process.
Fourth common thought about AT: well their just animals. they aren't humans.
So just because they aren't humans makes it okay for them to be torchured?

No. It's not
Lets talk about the brands we see advertised everyday.
This may really shock you.
MAC Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder, Benefit Cosmetics, Clinique, Guerlain, Lancome, Mary Kay, Maybelline, Michael Kors, Neutrogena, Olay, Revlon, Stila Cosmetics, Tom Ford, etc.
These brands are ALL tested on animals.
So, when you create millions of products that are sold around the country/world, and you advertise it, why can't you advertise the harm you are creating too? Is that bad for business?
FINAL THOUGHTS:
Until today I was completely unaware of the amount of companies that test on animals. They know it does not benefit humans for reasons I have explained, so do these people just enjoy messing with animals?
I am going to be 100% honest. I am truly disgusted and disappointed. Especially with the higher end make up. You sell expensive products to the public, but you can not invest in in vitro? You clearly have the money for it. Which is my next point.
The selfishness and greed.
I understand you start a business to make money. But when you put innocent animals at risk for your greed I have no respect for you. If you think animals do not have feelings or are not able to feel what you are doing to them, you are wrong. You are wrong in so many ways and I am disappointed in myself too for not researching the brands I have paid for things from. But let this be a lesson to everyone, before you buy, you need to research. YouTube has TONS of reviews, so why don't we research where our product is made, where its been, etc. We need to know what we are putting on our face. Remember, what works on a lab animal does not always work on humans.
Thank you. If you would like to see lists of products not used on animals, and lists of products used, please go to http://features.peta.org/cruelty-free-company-search/cruelty_free_companies_search.aspx

Best of 2014!
2015 awaits! I hope you all had a fabulous New Year! Here are my Best of 2014 products! xoxoxo
SKIN CARE
Clean & Clear Acne wash
By far my favorite face soap. Will never use anything else.
Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer
I have incredibly dry skin. My skin especially in the winter is insanely dry. I would recommend this if you have dry skin because it works wonderfully. However, my skin is almost TOO dry for it. If you have any moisturizers that are for very dry skin, let me know. Social media/contact info will be down below:)
MAKEUP
Maybelline Dream Matte Powder (Sand Medium 01)
I think they have changed this formula or discontinued it because I can not find this powder foundation anymore and I am so upset because it is my all time favorite powder. I like it better than mac studio fix. If any of you know what happened to this powder or know where I could find it let me know! I know ulta has the dream matte powder but I don't know my shade so help me out. (:
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer in Milk Chocolate
This bronzer doesn't break me out, and is not orange on my skin. Its made with real cocoa powder and smells delightful. Am I the only one that tastes it when I bronzer my face or nah...
Benefit Hervana Blush
I needed to find a different blush. I have a little redness in the apples of my cheeks so I use liquid foundation to hide it, and when I would apply different blushes, they would have too much red and it was almost like I just applied foundation for nothing lol.
Elf Eye lid Primer
Guys I am so serious if you do not have this primer and you buy Urban Decay or some expensive brand, take it back. I have very veiny eyelids and primers such as UD, LORAC, and SMASHBOX, do not work like this does and those primers crease (I own multiple from each brand) This primer covers my eyelid, its inexpensive, ELF is carried multiple places, and it will NEVER crease your make up.
Lorac Pro 2 Palette
I love this palette more than both Naked and Naked2. I even thought about selling them because I don't use them and even before I got the Lorac. Let me know your favorite palettes:)
MAC Cosmo
My lip color but better. I have raved about this since the day I got it. Its a brownish red, and its very moisturizing
Milani Lipstick in Plumrose
I was looking for my fall dark vampire lipstick. Perfect fall look AND it smells like watermelon AND its cheap.
Tate Lights Camera Lashes
I do like this mascara. Its not clumpy, makes my lashes look darker, and lengthens them drastically. My only tiny problem is it seems to dry out pretty fast but nonetheless always can use contact solution.
Moroccan Oil Curl Defining Cream
When you have very curly hair like I do, a gel will not work on your hair. Gel makes the hair frizzy and dry from all the alcohol. I only have one set back as I have said before, it is an oil based product so you really need the right shampoo and condition to take care of your hair.
I hope you enjoyed my 2014 Favs and I wish you the best of luck this year!:)
