November Favorites

I feel like just yesterday I did my October favorites. Soon I will be doing my 2014 Yearly Favorites and then onto 2015 we go.
1. Urban Decay Smoked Palette
I bought this palette when it was on sale for $29.00. Now it's $20. I love it because it's insanely pigmented. It has many everyday colors, and a few accent colors. I think everyone should get this palette because the packaging is adorable and really creative and the colors look amazing whether you want a day or night time look.
2. Covergirl Instacheeksbones in 240
This blush has been my go to blush since I started wearing make up. Now I use the lightest shimmer shade as a highlight. This is a 3 shade blush and it's the middle color is the prettiest peachy color. The color I use as a highlight does not really have a color to it just that perfect shimmer on the cheek bones.
3. Loreal Eye Shadow Single in 830
I'm not real big on filling in my brows because they are already thick and full, but I use this shade on my brows and it's perfect. Then I set with my Aveda Brilliant retexturing gel.
4. Too Faced Sweethearts Blush in Peach Beach
I love this blush because the packaging is adorable and the color pigment is great. The only thing I have a problem with is the smell. Personally after having Too Faced's bronzed I expected their other products to smell good but this does not smell good at all.
5. Sakura Foundation Brush
I got this brush a while back. Besides the incredibly slow shipping, the brush is amazing. It has over 20,000 mink brissles. I am mixing foundations to match my skin tone right now and I use this brush for my darker foundation. I've only used a beauty blender with foundation and was always very skeptical about using a brush but it doesn't cake on and looks flawless. Retails for $22 and I personally would pay that before buying a beauty blender again.

I hope you enjoyed my November favorites. Sorry there weren't more I just have not been shopping. I went Black Friday shopping and I will be doing a haul/review on everything I bought. Don't forget to follow and subscribe:)

October Favorites

Hey babes! I am back after being gone for awhile due to a busy school schedule. I am currently working on about 4 different blog posts, so excuse some of the break. I have some October goodies for you all. My birthday was in September and I got Sephora gift cards because if you don't know that I don't like make up then you really do not know me. I will have a separate blog post about Homecoming hair/make up and mention my favorite products that I used that day. They will not be included in my monthly favorites. Anyways, I got some things from Sephora, online, Ulta, and Mac. I will have reviews on what I bought with my birthday presents on another post. Enjoyyy:)))
1. Moroccan Oil Curl Defining Cream (8.5 fl oz)
I have curly hair. I've tried it all to try and tame my hair. Gels, mouses, etc. But nothing has really worked. Gel makes curly hair frizzy and the alcohol in it damages your hair. This cream smells absolutely amazing. I have tried their oil for hair too and loved it as well. It works perfect on keeping curly hair tamed. My only two problems is it does have alcohol in it so you will need to use a tough shampoo. I recommend Pantene. I was using John Frieda Frizz Ease and my hair was so oily and greasy it was not getting clean. Second, it is on the pricy side. It ranges from $31-$34. If you have a beauty license I know Sallys Beauty has it for around $17. My aunt is a hairstylist and got it for me for my birthday.
2. Essie nail polish in Flawless
The nail polish has been my color when I wanted that light pink flesh tone color but also wanted it to show up on my nails. It is not nude. It's a light pink and last forever on the nails. I wore it over the entire summer and only re did my toes once because my nails grew. The polish lasts 2 weeks on my nails.
3. Benefit PoreFessional
I think I have mentioned this on my blog previously, but I know since then I did run out of it and purchased a new 0.25 US fl oz. I personally will not spend $30 on this product but I love the travel size version. I have tried the Nyx version of this product and nothing works quite like this. If I don't even wear make up, I always put this on. Gives a fresh clean look.
4. MAKE UP FOREVER Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil in Aqua Eyes
I used this eyeliner recently in a few different looks. I'll be doing a blog post soon on my favorite look. But I love this eyeliner because its not bold, and it has some shimmer making it less intense and more wearable. It is waterproof and it's taken me 3 days to try and get the blue and sparkles out from under my eyes.
5. Tarte Skinny Smoldering Amazon Waterproof Clay Eyeliner
I used this for homecoming and wanted to do a thin line. Not realizing how smooth it went on. Lets just say I didn't get my thin line but it is soooo black and after wearing it for awhile my shadow didn't alter my black eyeliner.
6. Coastal Scents Blending brush BR-C-N06
I ordered this brush along with a custom palette and I've used this brush ever sense. I used to use a Henry Bendel crease brush but now I am using this brush. I love how easy I can blend shadows and it doesn't take that much for the brush to pick up the color vs. the Henry Bendel brush. I will be buying more.
7. BareMinerals Contour Blush brush
I got this brush a few months ago and it just sat in my drawer and one day I was washing brushes and decided to use this and haven't stopped since. What I like about this brush is its thin enough to get where you contour but big enough to be a blush brush too.
8. Lorac Pro Palette 2
I was looking for a palette that wasn't nudes because I have 3 and I found my match. Lets just say Lorac over Urban Decay.
9. Ardell Glamour Wispies in black
I wore these lashes for homecoming and oh my god I would wear them everyday they're the best lashes I've ever used and I will continue to buy them because hello $4 amazing lashes that are easy to use and wear? duh.
10. Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara
I have been looking for a new mascara to replace my L'oreal Voluminous Million Lashes and I got this mascara when Ulta had the full size for I think like $10 when it's originally $20. I tried it out thinking oh no big deal it's just $10, it's alright if I don't like it I can just give it to my mom or sister. Let me tell you, they will never get my mascara. I absolutely love this. I was looking for a new mascara because while my L'oreal made my lashes look so natural, it was not dark enough.
LIPS YAYYYY
11. Mac Lipstick in Lovelorn (lustre)
Again, perfect pink and I wore when I went to homecoming. Love all Mac lipsticks and I think they're worth the money.
12. NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in 129 Beige
This lip gloss is like Lovelorn in a lip gloss. I love this lipgloss on its own and it smells like Starbursts.

That is all for my October favorites:)
I am getting rid of clothes, shoes, etc so if you could find me on Poshmark and check out my closet that would be great:)

August favs

I didn't really purchase anything new in june or july except for clothes, but I have a lot of favorites now.

I am going to start with hair products.
I used to use Pantene but I have super curly hair and I feel it doesn't work well with my hair. It doesn't make my curls have their natural shape, its like the shampoo mats it at the top. Plus, I don't feel like I am really cleaning my hair and I have noticed build up. Yuck. So I changed shampoos and I have the John Frieda Frizz Ease Dream Curls Shampoo and I also recently bought the conditioner for it.
You can never organize your make up too many ways right?
I love the 3 drawer organizers and I got mine for like $4 from Target. I already have one but I needed one more lol.
I was recently stopped at the benefit counter and I was asked to sample their new gel eyeliner. However, I practically got my make up done. I ended up getting the Hervana blush instead, but I do plan on buying another mascara and the gel eyeliner. I asked the lady doing my make up what blush would look good on me, considering I wear foundation to cover up the redness in my t-zone, and then she applied Hervana and I fell in love. My best friend got the gel eyeliner and I got a blush for my birthday (September 21st) so thank you mammal for that. You know the way to my heart.
Since I have gone back to my normal foundation routine, most of my powders made my face look like I caked on a ton of make up. The cool thing about the amount of make up I have is if I look hard enough I'll find another powder. And I did. The Maybelline Dream Matte Powder looks great on the skin after applying liquid foundation.
Next are two potted eyeshadows I think I have mentioned on my blog before. They are the NYX Hot Singles Eyeshadow in Damage Control (which is a light purple with hints of grey) and the other one is Lace. Which is just a nude.

I also have two lip colors to talk about. The NYX butter glosses used to look weird on me. I don't know why I have been wearing them for so long and then all of the sudden the formula seemed to change. I fell back in love with it and Creme Brûlée is still my favorite.
My next nude is from Forever 21 and is the High Pigment Gloss in nude.
Last lip color is from Bite Beauty and it is in the color Shiraz, nice dark color and enhances my lip color more.
As most of my readers know my holy grail mascara is the voluminous million lashes. My only side note about this product is, its definitely going to look natural, so you will need a mascara to coat the black on and make them look thicker. My newest obsession is Rimmel Scandal eyes Retro Glam mascara in black. Best mascara if you want a dramatic look.

Back to School Haul

Ugh, its that time of the year again. However my back to school shopping begun mainly in July, lol. Every one of my favorite stores were having sales and I hadn't gone shopping in a while so it was time to pick up somethings. In my last blog, I mentioned the lip gloss and lipsticks I got but I also got non-beauty things. (: (excuse my stuffed animals, they're presents from my boyfriend:)
1. Hollister
Dear lord, 40-60% off and $25 jeans? Um, God made this sale for me. So I got two v-necks, and two white shirts/sweater.
(Left to right) Light gray v-neck and peach colored v-neck $8.97 each.
I got this really cute white shirt for $15.00 regular price was $24.95 :)

Next white shirt hits below my belly button so its not a crop top or midriff and it was $21.99 and I bought it for $10.99 :)
2. Forever 21
From Forever 21 I got 3 beauty products, the cutest contacts case, and a shirt with a very beautiful meaning.
"Kindess is a language that the deaf can hear and the blind can see" -Mark Twain. This shirt is so soft and light weight.
Navy blue skirt from Hollister that was on sale for $20
Knit sweater that was $8 from old navy. Hits perfectly.
My best friend and I love mean girls so when we were shopping together. From Forever 21 and was $12.80
A sweater from Forever 21 for $15. I only found a size XL so if it looks huge thats why.

$8 shirt from Marshals. Last photo is the back. So much detail.
3 pairs of hollister jeans, two lightest were $20 and the darkest were $19
Two pairs of ballet flats from Target. Originally $16 each, but I got them both for $12 each.
Grey low pro vans, and white converse.

So thank you for reading my blog and I hope you enjoy:)

Lip Collection

Hi, loves. Welcome back to my blog. So today I am going to be talking a little bit about my lip collection and everything in it. I have a lot so I am not going to go too in depth about each one but it you want to know more about a certain lipstick or lipgloss let me know:) (in no order, either.)
1. Stila Lip Glaze in Apricot
Seriously love this lip glaze. No gross odor, a little sticky but Stila sells a lot of different colors.
Ulta and Sephora sell these in a 3 pack for I believe $18-$20. Which is perfect because individually they are about $15.
2. This Jumbo sized lip gloss, lol.
It came in a package with like a perfume or something and oh my gosh…its huge. I believe its from Candies but it says "Flirt! Big Flirt!" and its got a dough foot applicator. Its packaging is super cute. The handle is black, and where the lipgloss is, its got black poke dots! The color I have is 01 Big on Beige. Sparkly, but a neutral color.
3. ELF Moisturizing Lipstick in Pink Mink
By far my favorite pink lipstick. I've bought other lipsticks and they just aren't my lips but better. Kind of a annoying smell but you don't notice it on your lips.
4. My NYX butter gloss collection
I have 6 of these. 3 are my holy grail, creme brûlée. I have Tiramisu which is like a darker version of creme brûlée, Maple Blondie is a high pigmented pinkish/peach color, last; Vanilla Cream Pie is a frosty pink with a little bit of mauve.
5. Victorias Secret Shiny Kiss Flavored Gloss
I had one of these years ago in slice of heaven and yes the name did it justice. I guess they changed the formula because Slice of Heaven and these do not taste the same sadly. However, I have two. First one is in Candy, Baby and is a baby pink with no sparkles. Next is Passion Fruit Pop. A darker kind of reddish color. But it comes out very light and sparkly.
6. Forever 21
First, is my oldest lipgloss lol. Its a nude/pink but comes out clear. Next, is from their newest collection that is in stores now. High Pigment Gloss in Nude. I wouldn't say it is completely matte, but there are no sparkles in it. Now I have two lipsticks and one complaint. Love & Beauty by Forever 21. I got colors Pink and Nude. I like how pigmented they are but they do have some pros and cons. I will make a separate blog for that.
7. MAC BABYYYYY
I have been obsessing over my first mac lipstick and I can't go anywhere without it and just its stunning. I picked up Flamingo by Mac and I love it.
(Left to right) Mac-Flamingo, ELF Pink Minx, Forever 21 lipsticks in Nude and Pink, High Pigment Gloss in nude, Forever 21 in a nude (old), 3 NYX Creme Brûlée, then NYX Tiramisu, then Maple Blondie, and last from NYX Vanilla Cream Pie, VS Passion Fruit Pop and Candy, Baby. Last two are Stila and I believe Candies.
SWATCHES:
(Top to bottom) NYX Creme Brûlée, Tiramisu, Maple Blondie, Vanilla Cream Pie.

(Left to right) LIPSTICKS ELF Pink Minx, FR21 Pink, FR21 Nude, and Mac Flamingo.

I hope you all enjoyed this blog and I'd just like to thank my regular readers for continuing reading my stuff and to my new readers I hope you read the rest :) xoxoxo

Beauty on the go tips!

Packing make up is the hardest thing for me. I never know what I will need. Here are my tips for travel make up.
1. Don't pack everything
I used to pack a lot of make up and end up not wearing anything but probably 2 products. Pack the things you use everyday. If you wear a lot a make up each day, pick items that are must haves.
2. Travel sizes
Recently, more and more companies are coming out with travels sizes. I love this idea for solo many reasons. My first reason is, their less expensive!!! I am not someone that will spend $30+ on one product. So I love smaller sizes for the less expensive. Second, smaller is better! I love smaller things because they are easier to travel. Smaller sizes definitely save your make up bag more room to fill with your favorite things. Third, if a product has been raved about and you really want to try it, but it's a little more than you'd like to spend, travel sizes are your answer. Yes, they are smaller but if you do not like the product after using it, you won't feel very guilty for splurging.
3. Z Palettes
I love love love this idea for traveling. Instead of taking a bunch of different eyeshadows, you can put them all in the z palette and go. If you do not know what a Z Palette is let me explain. So basically its a "make your own palette" you pick depotted eyeshadows, blushes, concealers, etc. and you put them all into your designed palette. Mac used to have one where there were no tray to hold them and they were just magnetic, and depending on the size of the product you could fit more than the now tray says. Which for Mac theres like a 15, 30 (maybe) and 100. But I found a less expensive place that has already depotted eyeshadows and Z Palettes with the tray. COASTAL SCENTS! Oh my goodness this place literally is the least expensive make up site ever. The depotted eyeshadows are like $1.95 each and they have every color imaginable. So I suggest that site. Also Sephora sells Z palettes but they are black and white striped and cost I believe around $20.
4. Take what you know works for you
Take the make up you know works for you. If you are going to be taking a lot of pictures or need a long wearing foundation, accommodate your needs of where you are traveling. Don't take make up you haven't tried a while and aren't sure if it works for you. Just to be safe.
5. Make sure everything is sealed for safe travels!
The one thing I do when I travel is I tape the lids shut. This is more for shampoo or anything that could possibly spill out. I know its not the most convenient way to do it but it definitely works. Try to keep the lids to anything with a pumper. It saves soooo much hassle.
Hope I helped y'all with traveling! xoxoxoxoxo

L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara Review

I clearly have high standards with mascara.
I recently saw a youtube guru wearing this mascara and I loved how it worked on her eyes, but I don't really like how it worked on mine.
I have been using the Voluminous Million Lashes, as you probably already know.
I love the packaging, it was really creative to make it a telescope shape, hints the name.
The mascara itself, is black noir. The color I bought.
The brush is a little weird however, its very narrow, and doesn't have long brisells and they are very short and spread out.
As I put it on it seemed to work like my holy grail mascara, but it was very clumpy at the roots of my eyelashes, but I just kinda wiggled the brush there and pulled it all out.
Overall, 8/10. Xoxoxo

Easy Summer Look!

Ok so it is summer and I am not into the whole liquid foundation right now. I wore it once and it practically melted off my face. So I have created a light natural summer look for you! :)
1. Well first it is important to properly moisturize your face. I am using Clean N Clear Dual Action Moisturizer.
2. Next I have a few powder foundation products I could chose. Starting from drugstore to high end.
-Nyx Stay Matte but not flat powder foundation in Soft Beige
-Maybelline Dream Matte Powder in medium sand
-bareMinerals Original SPF 15 Foundation in fairly medium
-Mac Studio Fix powder in NW25
-Mac Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in medium plus
3. I bronze up my face a little bit with my Too Faced Chocolate Soleil in milk chocolate
4. I have been liking a more darker cheek so I have been reaching for my Estee Lauder blush in Assuring Rose
5. For summer I don't usually wear eyeshadow because I sweat and it just comes right off even if I used a primer. So I just take some of my studio fix powder and a bush and do my eye, covering up my veins that show through in my eyes.
6. For mascara I (of course) use my holy grail L'OREAL Voluminous Million Lashes in black
7. If I so a natural look I will most likely use Creme Brûlée from Nyx.
So that is my quick and easy make up look for when I actually wear make up in the summer time, lol.
Be sure to read my other blog posts and leave me questions/comments/suggestions! xoxoxo

Huge NYX Haul!

Hiiii (: after a few weeks away I am backkk!!! On Sunday I got an email from Ulta saying Nyx, L'Oreal, Physicians Formula, and Nuetrogena products  were all 40% off. So yes I totally went and picked up a few goodies. (Also the sale lasts from June 29th, till Sunday July 5th. Go pick up some goodies!)
1. L'oreal Telescopic Mascara in Black Noir $5.99
I have been wanting this mascara for such a long time. But it was about $10 and I wasn't feeling that. So I when I saw it on sale for $5.99 so I got it.
2. Nyx Pore Filler $8.39
I have been looking for a dupe for Benefit PoreFessional and I wasn't sure how much this item was but it ended up only being like $2 less than porefessional. But thats okay! This is a 0.67 fl.oz so it is more than the sample size of the porefessional.
3. Nyx HD Photogenic Concealer $2.99
I accidentally picked up an opened concealer thinking all of them didn't have seals, well when I opened it to test it once I got home it was messy inside like someone had been playing in it and it was not the right color. I will have to return it and get a lighter color. The color is CW06 Glow. Its orangey, so it would look better on someone with a darker complexion.
4. Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil $2.69
I had to replace this from one I had bought months ago, and a girl I used to be friends with stole it, and three other make up items. Anyways, I love it. It's very pigmented and I'm excited to use it.
5. Nyx Butter Gloss in Vanilla Cream Pie $2.99
I have several different colors from the collection of butter glosses and I loveee this color paired with my E.LF. Pink Minx lipstick. Its a glossy pink. It's like my lips but better type of color. I can not really say it is pigmented without a lipstick. It should be paired. :)
6. Nyx Blush in Mocha $3.59
From the name I was expecting a darkish red toned blush, but nope it's a baby pink. Which I don't mind I will just have to get used to it. lol
7. Nyx Hot Singles Eyeshadow in Lace $2.69
This is a matte nude eyeshadow, perfect with any look.
8. Nyx Hot Single Eyeshadow in Damage Control $2.69
This is a dark purplish mauve toned color with sparkles. It looks great with Lace. I used Damage Control as a crease color and then take a little of the light matte purple from the Naked 2 palette.

So this is all from my "Ulta" Haul. I do plan to go back to pick up some other things that are on sale. I will be doing a full review on the Telescopic Mascara next.

BareMinerals Haul

I have 14 new mineral eyeshadows to share. Let get started!!
1. Shimmer
Shimmer is a light gray sparkly eyeshadow with an undertone of brown. Perfect for a night time look.
2. Passionate Plum
This is a light purple/mauve color. Little darker than lavender, with a hint of silver. Great fall look.
3. Seduction
Seduction is a lot like Passionate plum, but darker and has more sparkles in it. Paired perfect with Clear Radiance.
4. Balance
Balance is a coral/peach color. Has a little shimmer. Perfect for summer.
5. Steel
Steel is a metallic gray with lots of sparkle. Steel is just a darker version of Shimmer. "The perfect gray"
6. Phoebe
Phoebe is a dark violet purple with a little bit of sparkles. Would work well with black and gray shadows.
7. Utopia
Utopia is a shimmery dark blue color, with an undertone of green. Perfect for a night out.
8. Clear Radiance
Clear Radiance is a light baby pink, with some sparkle. Perfect for a natural look.
9. Saturday
Saturday is a pressed white eyeshadow with little to no sparkle. Perfect for brow bone.
10. Sunday
Sunday is a light pink/mauve color with a red undertone. Would look great as a lid color.
11. Medium Tan
Medium tan is actually a "foundation" but it comes in the size container of a quarter. So I plan on using it as a powder primer, to hide my vainy eyes, since it is my skin tone.
12. Golden Dark
Golden Dark is a brownish copper color with no shimmer/sparkle. Completely matte.
13. Starlight
Starlight is a pink/gold sparkly color with lots and lots of shine. Perfect mixture of gold and pink.
14. Silk Rose
Silk Rose is a very rosy pink tone with little to no sparkle.

Well that is all for my bareMinerals haul. Hope you look into buying some of their products! Their SPF 15 powder foundation is the best powder foundation. My color is fairly medium but I haven't gotten color matched in a while. xoxoxo

Everyday Make-up Routine

1. Clean & Clear dual action moisterizer
I love this moisturizer. In the winter I have very dry skin, and this is the only moisturizer I have that keeps my skin moist all throughout the day.
2. Mac Pro Longwear foundation in NW20 ($31)
This is a full coverage foundation, and most likely the least expensive foundation most foundations that are sold at Sephora. Applied with a beauty blender. (Mac is not sold at Sephora, just fyi)
3. Maybelline Dream Matte Powder
After I apply my foundation, I get a little oily, so I apply this and it works perfectly!
4. Too Faced Chocolate Soleil in milk chocolate
This is the best bronzer I have ever tried. It smells amazing and doesn't break me out.
5. Covergirl Instantcheekbones in 240.
I love a bronzed look. I have some redness around my T-zone, so I don't like pink or red blushes. This blush is a peach tone. Its like a two-in-one. The middle color I use as blush, and the lightest color I use as a highlighter.
6. Elf Eyelid Primer
I love this primer. Not a lot is needed, and it works better than the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer and is like $1.00.
7. Most days I don't wear eyeshadow, but when I do I use sin from the naked 1 palette and number 2 from the Revlon Colorstay in 555 Moonlit
8. Loreal Voluminous Million Lashes
Love, love love this mascara. It doesn't clump my lashes, and makes them look fuller.
Thanks for reading babes. Please follow and subscribe :)

Target Haul, including E.L.F

Ahhh, the much anticipated post. I recently tweeted that I was going to Target and I would most likely do a haul, depending on what I bought. I absolutely love E.L.F, mainly because they have great products at the best prices. I got 7 items for like $25. (I am not sure why E.L.F 's products are .02 its just the way Target had them marked)
So the first thing I picked up was the E.L.F Professional Foundation Brush for $1.02.
I've been looking for some alternatives to my beauty blender for applying foundation.
Next, I got the E.L.F Small Stipple Brush that I believe was $3.02
I have been trying to find a stipple brush because originally thats what I thought you used to apply foundation before there was a beauty blender (which I recommend trying.) but I could never find one that was not $30+, which I think is ridiculous for a brush.
Third, I got the E.L.F Eyelid Primer in sheer which was $1.02.
I was not going to spend $20 for primer. And of course I never tried it so I thought why not :)
Then, I picked up the E.L.F Concealer stick in ivory for $3.02.
Now, for me picking out concealer is a little bit of a struggle. I have low iron, so around my eyes its very purple-blueish. So naturally, the concealers tend to fade throughout the day, letting the purple show through. It's something that bothers me. I wouldn't say I'm self conscious about it, I just feel a little embarrassed when it shows through or someone points it out. I'm excited to see if this concealer creases or lets the purple show through.
Last but definitely not least, I bought the E.L.F Moisturizing Lipstick in pink minx for $3.02
Super excited to try this, I wanted to buy more lipsticks and I'm excited to buy the other colors. :)
Now, my next two items are not E.L.F but I felt that it was pretty important to mention them.
Not E.L.F related, but I was looking for some new eyeshadow, so I got the Revlon Creme Shadow in not just nudes for $3.99 I believe. I didn't realize it was a creme shadow till I got home, but I wanted something different and I'm excited to see how it works and looks.
Next was the TRESemme Firm Control hairspray in 3. It was around $4.
A few months ago, I was in the hairspray aisle, and saw that hairspray costed about $10. Which I thought was ridiculous so I did not buy it. I didn't even check TRESemme. But when I was there just recently I need shampoo and was shocked that their hairspray was like $4. My hair holds curls pretty well so I didn't need a hairspray with extra firm control.

So that is all for my Target haul! Be sure to follow me on instagram at @haiitsaubree, and to subscribe to my YouTube channel. Don't be afraid to tweet me @beautybyaubs. I want suggestions for more blog posts, and feedback. Let me know if there is something certain you would like me to do a post about. Thanks guys! xoxo.

Make up I will not repurchase

Ok so we all have those products that we were soo excited to try, buuuut they just do not work, lol. Here are a list of products I would not repurchase!
In my other blog post about foundations I would not repurchase, I mentioned 3. So if you want to check that post out, it has lots of info about those foundations(:
1. Starting off with face products

  • Maybelline Fit Me! in Light Pink
Oh my. Lol I really did not like this blush at all. I was drawn to the packaging because it was simple and the color looked like a perfect light pink. But once I opened it, I noticed it was rough to the touch. I rubbed my fingers on it and nothing came off. I tried applying it, and nothing was even on the brush after I practically scrubbed it. Then after it was in my purse, the lid completely broke. I was carrying a small bag with only my wallet, a lip gloss and this blush so it clearly was not smushed. I'm not sure if it was just the color pay off or if all Maybelline Fit Me! blushes have these issues. Another drugstore blush product I recommend is the Covergirl Instant Cheekbones. Perfect payoff and comes in many colors.

  • Wet N Wild Coloricon Bronzer with SPF 15 in Bikini Contest 740
This bronzer has a great color pay off. I personally just do not like how it feels. While using it, I broke out super bad around where I contour. This was the only product I used. The packaging is great. It's a very large compact which is nice. It does have a smell once you open the package but you don't really smell it on your skin. I have just found a better bronzer that is amazing. It's the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil in milk chocolate. Made with cocoa powder!

Foundations I will not repurchase

I love trying new beauty products and foundation is the most important to having a flawless face, but sometimes they don't always look right on your skin. Here is a list of foundations I would not repurchase and why.(:
1. Sephora 10HR wear perfection foundation
This was my first foundation and the least expensive one at Sephora. When I was getting color matched, the man took off all my make up and took three different pictures of my face and neck. The color was not right. I applied it with my beauty blender, and my face was orange. When I bought this foundation, it was winter time, so I was very pale. The color payoff was not right at all, and it did not last 10 hours at all. I started seeing it crease within 30 minutes.
2. REVLON COLORSTAY 24hour foundation
The problem with buying drugstore foundation is the make up company either has a large range of colors, or not enough. Plus, you can't open them up and test them on your skin, making a color choice 10x more difficult. Now, drugstore foundations have this very strong smell. Maybe not all but most of them do. I thankfully picked the right shade, however it does crease and leave that sticky and smelly foundation smell and look on your skin.
3. Covergirl Stay Fabulous 3 in 1
This foundation has everything in it. It has primer, coverage of a concealer and foundation in one, also has SPF 20. The only problem I find with this foundation is it is heavy. It's possible that its because it has a primer and concealer along with foundation all rolled into one, but I feel that when I wear it my face feels saggy, and it looks very cakey. Also, if you are looking for a foundation to wear when you're going to be in pictures, this is not the foundation. Any foundation with SPF in it will give the ghostly look in photos.

Alright, well that was everything for this post. Hope you enjoyed it and please leave suggestions for future posts! xoxo

Top 5 Drugstore Mascaras!

Welcome back, dolls!
If you are like me, then you understand that no make up look is complete without mascara.
Here are my reviews on my top 5 drugstore mascaras! Enjoy! (Most if not all of the mascaras I list below are not waterproof and are black. Waterproof mascara thins out your eyelashes. All brands have a waterproof and a non waterproof of each mascara below:)

1. L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Lashes. Retails about $7.95.
This product is my holy grail. It does not make them clumpy at all, it lengthens them so much. I put on one coat and they look so natural and long. Fabulous!
2. Rimmel Sexy Curves. Retails about $6.47.
This mascara would be my top pick however every time I go to the store, its always out of stock. I guess everyone loves it as much as I do, lol. But its brush is so different from all the other mascaras I've used. Not clumpy, very full lashes and very affordable!
3. Maybelline The Mega Plush Volum Express. Retails about $8.15.
I love this mascara because it doesn't make my lashes very clumpy however once you put it on its very wet so smudges happen pretty easily but that is my only concern with it!
4. Maybelline Falsies Volum Express ( Flared). Retails about $7.59.
This goes great with the Mega Plush mascara. I recommend using both mascaras. Use this one first because it is very clumpy but lengthens them (has a curved brush) and then go over your lashes with the Mega Plush because it takes away most of the clumps.
5. Covergirl Flamed Out. Retails about $6.49
This was a gift from my mom for my birthday. My moms not a huge make up geek so she doesn't know the difference between waterproof and non waterproof. But she bought me this and I really love it despite it being waterproof. I looked up some reviews and a lot of people have had the same problem. Clumping. I can say that I agree there is a lot of mascara on the brush when you pull it out but a ton of mascaras do that! The brush is huge and really magnifies your lashes so I love it.

I hoped that helped y'all in your search for the perfect mascara. More posts coming soon! Leave requests(:

WELCOME LOVES!(:

Hi babes!
Welcome to my blog!
So, my reason behind creating a blog for you all is to give you true reviews on drugstore and high end products and recommend products for each skin type. From skin care, to make up to hair I will be doing  it all. I have been contemplating doing YouTube videos for reviews and tutorials, but I feel that because I am not a professional some would not react well. However, I love make up. I love buying new products and trying them out and I am constantly asked about what make up I'm wearing or how I did it. I have a great mixture of high end and drugstore make up, so it will not just be all drugstore or all high end. Feel free to leave comments suggesting ideas for future blog posts. Please no hate. If you disagree with my opinion then click off my blog. I am here to help you and I am a human as well. I am doing this because I am passionate about it. Well you probably want to know who I am and information about me, lol. But for security purposes I will be known as Aubs. That is not my full name, however it is just a nickname. Over time I will post more about myself as well as what I look like but for now I will be a little private about who I am.

Please remember that you are gorgeous without make up. Make up is used to enhance ones features that they already have. Show off what your momma gave you.

Love,
Aubs
